The Regional Controller will coordinate all financial reporting functions for their geographical zone.   Controller will ensure that the regional financial statements are accurate, complete and in accordance with all requirements, corporate policies and industry practices. Prepare financial documents such as financial statements, business reports, financial forecasts and other statements.  Will be working with business operations to improve performance. (This is more about working with the business units then taxes or balancing the books within the shared services department.) The Accounts Receivable Billing Coordinator will work with multiple locations and is primarily responsible for prompt, efficient and accurate processing of monthly customers AIA Billings and Intercompany Billings. IES Residential is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager in the San Antonio, TX area. The Senior Solar Project Manager will manage the process from contracted sale through file archive for a select set of Solar Customers, working closely with Engineering, Installations, and Sales (or Prime Contractor) to keep the customer informed of their status, as well as completing all of the necessary paperwork to move their project through the pipeline for a smooth and positive experience. Oversee the construction process for residential, commercial, and small utility photovoltaic systems, along with ancillary contracted electrical services and/or structural upgrades, etc., utilizing both in house and subcontracted installation crews. Provide support and mentoring to other members of the operations team.   Job Duties include: - Drive safely obeying all laws and IES polices - Ability to wear/utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. - Become expert in customer’s individual contract inclusions/exclusions and ensure that all required items are met throughout the project lifecycle - Complete initial customer onboarding call to orient them to the IES process and collect critical information. - Update customer as to necessary revisions and/or change orders based on AHJ & EDC specific requirements not included within their sales contract. - Be the internal customer advocate to ensure that their project receives appropriate attention, action, and reaction to issues. - Know the customer’s personality as to appropriately guide company/managers through possibly problematic situations with your portfolio of clients. - Document customer interactions and maintain records of all calls, e-mails, conversations, and other forms of communication relating to projects. - Be available to work in all reasonable weather conditions in all seasons to perform job functions. - Overnight travel as required. Work related travel up to 85%. - Collaborate with other department managers for the overall success of the Energy Solutions Division - Assist with the creation, revision, and maintenance of SOP for all direct and indirect subordinates across entire operations department ensuring safe, correct, and efficient use of IES systems and procedures - Lead/assist in the development of new operations locations - Assist with make sounds decisions between purchasing, leasing, and renting various necessary fixed assets - Recruit, hire, and train both direct and indirect reports as necessary to facilitate department needs - Ensure that safety is always first priority of every employee & subcontractor when any/all decisions and SOP’s are being made - Ensure that decisions are being made from a standpoint of “good business practice” rather than “the customer is always right” or “protect the company’s bottom line” - Vet & negotiate new subcontractor relationships for companies performing services for the Energy Solutions Division - Able to review and negotiate contract terms with prime contractors or financiers for scope or work/services to ensure IES interests and bid/pricing alignment prior to sending contracts to IES legal for review & approval  - Provide mentoring and leadership to new and developing members of the operations team. - Coordinate IES installation teams and subcontractors ensuring compliance with standards. - Assess potential installation sites to determine feasibility and design requirements, evaluate provided designs for technical flaws or cost savings improvements. - Work with customer to collect all necessary/required items to proceed with project including documents, signatures, insurance policies, etc. - Communicate to customers on the company’s behalf and enforce company standards/policy while maintaining a positive relationship with the customer throughout the experience. - Manage proactive & reactive communication to sales consultants regarding their individual installations. - Prepare project scopes of work, project budgets, or schedules. - Solicit subcontractor bids and perform quantity, labor take-offs and estimate work. - Contribute with conceptual budgeting, bid preparation, client proposals, final estimates and cost analysis. - Plan and coordinate installations to ensure conformance codes. - Monitor work of contractors and subcontractors to ensure projects conform to safety, quality, plans, specifications, schedules, or budgets. - Provide technical assistance to electricians, installers, technicians, or other professionals in areas such as solar, electrical systems, and mechanical systems. - Identify means to reduce costs, minimize risks, or increase efficiency of projects. - Coordinate or schedule building inspections for projects.  - Order ancillary construction materials from suppliers and coordinate deliveries of materials  - Perform start-up of systems for testing or customer implementation.  -
