General Job Description

Edmonson Electric, a division of IES Residential is seeking a Meter Bank Crew Leader who will lead in the installation of electrical services for our Multi-family buildings. Installing meter banks, interior main breaker panels, installing raceways, and pulling wire.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring all installs are done in a neat and workmanlike manner, safely, to builder specifications and current NEC code.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Installation of multi-family electrical services (meter banks) to current NEC code.
  • Ensuring all work is done in a neat and workmanlike manner and done to our customers specifications.
  • Pulling lateral feeder wire from transformers to meter banks.
  • Installing raceways and pulling wire from meter banks to all interior panels of the multi-family buildings
  • Installing raceways/chases between floors of the multi-family buildings

Specific Qualifications

  • Accuracy with measurements
  • Ability to scale prints and properly read prints
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Electrical knowledge pertaining to raceway installation
  • Electrical knowledge pertaining to installation of electrical services for multi-family units.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times.
  • Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders.
  • Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.
  • Must be able to work in confined spaces
  • Must be able to use hand and power tools for extended periods of time.
  • Must have clean driving record.
