General Job Description

IES Residential is looking for a bi-lingual full-time internal recruiter to find qualified  candidates to join our company. This individual will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining a program to recruit per the needs of the division manager. Recruiter will be based out of Lakeland FL and primarily recruiti for Electricians, Plumbers and HVAC individuals for a training school. 


Job Duties:

  1. Post and advertise open positions
  2. Work with management to create and update job descriptions and questionnaires based on job requirements
  3. Develop, implement and maintain local recruiting sources including job fairs, vocation schools, unemployment offices etc.
  4. Interview, screen, and possibly hire candidate
  5. Seek out qualified candidates that may be all ready working 
  6. Assist with keeping the company in compliance with federal, state and local regulations concerning employment
  7. 50% to 75% travel (mostly local or in state as needed) 
  8. Other responsibilities as assigned
  9. May assist with other admin duties


Specific Qualifications

  • Bi-lingual (Spanish and English)
  • Self-motivating and able to work independently.
  • Be organized.
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to comply with all safety training, background checks, and drug tests
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), with the ability to learn Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Great communication skill, including phone etiquette
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Recruiting experience preferred
